Payment

Payment

To validate your registration and confirm your booking at KYO Surf, the total amount for the required services must be paid. After you fill in the form on our website, you will receive a confirmation letter and an invoice for the selected surf camp with all the bank details. Your booking will be valid once the required amount has been transferred to our bank account, and you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the booking details. For payments by credit card, we accept Visa and MasterCard. By making the payment, you agree to all the terms and conditions.


Conditions

All personal details must be filled in as shown on your official travel document. The minimum age for booking is 18 years old. The prices and variations of your booking depend on the season and availability. In case the weekly price changes, the difference must be paid from one side or the other. In case of unexpected situations, ‘Kyo Surf Camp’ reserves the right to make modifications. Modifications will only be made if they do not change the essential service, and we take full responsibility if there is an issue from our side. Once you have booked and paid, the price will not change. ‘Kyo Surf Camp’ will have all rights to photos and videos taken of you during your stay, which will only be used for publicity or promotional purposes.


Use of Camp Equipment

Each guest is responsible for the camp equipment during its use. In case of loss or major damage due to improper use, the client must take full responsibility to replace or cover the cost for each item. Some items may have a specific time of use to avoid disturbing others or for your own safety. These times will be communicated upon your arrival. Certain equipment, such as wetsuits and surfboards, should only be used and taken care of as explained by our team. Each guest takes full responsibility for following the instructions.

All equipment should be used with care and respected as if it were your own.


Transfers

Transfers can be booked within the packages, and additional bookings of transfers can only be made up to 3 days before arrival. To make the transfers more economical, we will arrange group pickups. Pick up and drop off times may vary but should not result in missed flights, buses, trains, etc. Kyo Surf Camp will not take responsibility or refund transfers or flights in case of unexpected and uncontrollable delays. The price will be paid within the booking, and please be aware that it is always for one way.


Health and Insurance

The customer must confirm that they are medically fit to participate in our lessons. In case of any health issues that may cause complications or affect your stay, please communicate with us before arrival.

For medical assistance during your stay at Kyo Surf Camp, each client should have:

  • A medical card and insurance, or
  • Contracted travel insurance

Kyo Surf Camp will not take responsibility or cover the cost of injuries caused by uncontrollable or unexpected situations.


Cancellation

Kyo Surf Camp recommends that each client obtain travel insurance in case of unexpected or uncontrollable situations that may lead to cancellations. Cancellations will be valid from the day we receive them. We will refund you 100% of the total amount up until two months before your holiday, 50% of the total amount four weeks before your holiday, and within less than four weeks before your holiday starting, we do not offer refunds.

Please note that this cancellation policy does not apply if your stay has been booked through other companies. In such cases, you must contact the company through which you booked your stay for their cancellation policy.


Transfer Services

Our transfer services won’t be refunded for cancellations made with less than two weeks’ notice. Modifications of pick-ups and drop-offs can only be made up to 1 week before the arrival. Later modifications cannot be guaranteed and may incur extra charges.


Responsibilities

Kyo Surf Camp does not accept any responsibilities or offer refunds under the following circumstances:

  • When clients are responsible for any issues affecting our service.
  • When a third party is responsible for any issues affecting our service.
  • Due to unpredictable conditions with unforeseen consequences such as weather, traffic, or force majeure events beyond the control of the company.

We highly recommend having travel insurance to cover any damage to personal items or losses.

Additionally, Kyo Surf Camp holds no responsibility or offers refunds for incidents occurring outside our program hours, which are from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Clients are expected to adhere to the regulations and rules of our camp or the campsite, details of which will be provided upon arrival. In cases of irresponsible behavior, Kyo Surf Camp will take necessary steps to prevent any further problems.


COUNTRY OF JURISDICTION: SPAIN

By paying the services at the camp you automatically accept the previous Terms and Conditions.
