To get to the house, you can either take the Airport Express to Alcaravaneras and walk, or take the Airport Express to Teatro and then bus number 1 to León y Castillo, where you will arrive shortly at the house.
Whats the daily schedule like?
A typical day at KYO Surf Camp begins with a hearty breakfast served around 8 am. Following breakfast, we start with theory lessons and warm-up exercises on the beach, preparing you for the main part of the surf lesson in the water. After the lesson, you can unwind at the beach, engage in activities like surfing or beach volleyball, or simply enjoy a relaxing nap while savoring your lunch by the sea.
In the afternoon, you’ll have the freedom to explore the city and island further or continue to soak up the sun at the beach. Whether you choose to embark on an adventure or unwind by the ocean, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy as you please.
As evening approaches, we recommend venturing out to discover some of the local restaurants and bars in the area, where you can immerse yourself in the vibrant Canarian lifestyle and savor the flavors of the region.
Do I need to bring my own Surfboard/ Wetsuit?
We provide surfboards and necessary equipment for all guests. We have a wide range of softboards from 6’10” to 8’0″ ft. There’s no need to bring your own unless you prefer to use a specific board. Additionally, we offer wetsuits available in sizes XS-XL.
What should I pack?
Essentials for your trip include swimwear, high-protection sunscreen (as we’ll be enjoying extended periods in the water), comfortable clothing for soaking up the sun, and cozy attire for the cool evenings. Don’t overlook the flip-flops, a beach towel, and some chic casual wear for those delightful evening outings. If you’re prone to sunburn, consider bringing or purchasing long-sleeved swimwear and swim hat for added coverage and peace of mind.
